Generally mistaken to be shy and introverted because of his love for books and knowledge, Niveus is actually quite confident in himself and very friendly towards other children and adults.

Description: Light yellow eyes, short white hair, and generally prefers white clothing.

Equipment: A pocket-watch, which is a memento from Niveus' grandfather. The clocks face uses roman numerals, the casing is covered in intricate designs and is made out of a rare silver metal found at meteor crash sites. If it holds any power, Niveus is not aware of it yet.

Background: Niveus used to live with his father and mother until a little over a year ago. The Aeon's have owned a 'Clock Specialty Store' in the trade nation of Grushafu for decades. They are brilliant Clock designers and engineers, making a living creating & selling various clocks and watches, and also repairing and restoring them. Even after the turmoil from the 'Fallen Star' had settled and Grushafu had it's new King, some of the populace spoke out against the Nissentia Knights occupying their nation. Niveus' father was one such person, and not far away from his 7th Birthday, Niveus' parents were murdered. Niveus still lives in the same house/store that he grew up in with his parents, but under the supervision of his Uncle who has been a supportive guardian. Niveus seeks the Truth about Nissentia, the secrets of the Fallen Star, and the power of Volition.

As an apprentice, he went to the Grushafu School for Mages and was tutored by sage Jeremiah. Niveus continues to have much admiration for this man. After passing his exit exam Niveus decided joining the Grushafu military was the quickest way to aquire more knowledge and develop his skills as a mage. He aquired a short-sword accompanied with two weeks of weapons training and 3 weeks of military tactics and formation training. After which, Niveus was assigned as a Magus Sergeant and given command of a squad of 6 mages, and quickly after that was given a mission. His squad was to escort a platoon of Soldiers to Nissentia, where the groups would merge with Nissentian allies for a joint operation against the FRF.

Susan Markington was the commander of the operation. Niveus, Macroy, Yistril, and Alfonzo were her direct officers. The Nissentian forces breached the village where the FRF commander of the mage corps. was located. The FRF had laid explosives throughout the village, and disguised themselves as civilians. The Nissentians fell into the trap, and the mage squads had to infiltrate the burning town to rescue their commander Susan. After a drawn out battle with several mages, Susan was able to escape with her brother Nick, but before Niveus could flee, he was confronted the FRF mage commander. Niveus was nearly defeated, only being spared due to help from mages from his squad, brothers William and Firro Kraft. Niveus was able to impale his sword through the Mage commander's chest thanks to their assistant. The losses had been significant, too much so to claim victory. The village still remained in FRF control. The battle earns Niveus the rank of Lord Mage, but he is devastated when he finds out one of the mages under his command met his end during the conflict.
