Background: Elmina grew up in Grushafu and loves her nation with all her heart. She attended secondary Mage school in Nissentia during which time she took a trip to the Fallen star. She knows there is much unknown in the world and wishes to understand as much as possible.

After having spent much time helping Sage Pyrah research the problem of other side rifts and the gates, Elmina met with an unfortunate situation. She was possessed by the Deathless Lord Boccaba and used to reap havoc. She watched from deep inside herself as the evil Boccaba used her very body to slay a man she had long viewed as a teacher and father. She was saved by Sage Jeramiah, another man she had looked up to for a long time. Back home in Grushafu, she took the Trail of Ancients and became the newest Sage to join the Council of Mages. She feels deep resentment for the Deathless Lord and his servants.
